Inclusivity is the very basis of creativity. Creative environments cannot easily thrive in highly divisive and contentious environments. The absorption of different cultures into a community provides the opportunity for many different ethnic cuisines, music, dancing and other expression. It is well known that the intermingling of creative influences inspires artistic breakthroughs. Additionally, we see that a great quantity of scientists and researchers are in the Triangle, doing great creative work. This immigration is enhancing a population that is already more diverse than so many other places in the country. Given this diversity, we see our true goal is to celebrate what we have with a spirit of inclusivity. allSPARK is designed to celebrate our individual and collective uniqueness.
